A question: one of the first things I teach my jaguariuna students english is that they already know a lot of English words, that is: almost. A língua inglesa é cheia de palavras latins; quasi 80%.
Now I noticed in your entry of today a phrasal verb which is as well identical in both English and Portuguese: count on, contar com. Ok not 100% identical but…very easy to remember for students of both directions: EP.
Ulisses, do you happen to know if there are places at the web where I could find more of these wonderful examples? Would be really great to start collecting these.
