The aim of Guia de Pronúncia do Inglês para Brasileiros is to present a simplified no-nonsense approach to pronunciation, offering access to this essential field without the requirement of any prior experience or training.
In Part I, the guide takes the student step by step through the whole range of English pronunciation, which goes hand in hand with the student’s existing knowledge of Portuguese characteristics. Tenho o livro e estou gosstando muito de estudar por ele. Necessita ter um certo conhecimento previo do idioma para aproveitá-lo melhor. Mas tive um problema: os 2 CDs quebraram e não sei como fazer para conseguir cópias dos mesmos. Alguém poderia me ajudar?

Ainda acredito que a pronúncia é o que mais marca quando avaliamos o inglês de uma pessoa, quero dizer, a pessoa pode até ter alguns desvios gramaticais, e um vocabulário que não seja lá essas coisas. Porém, a pronúncia deixa aquele marco, aquela sensação de que a pessoa é perceptiva e antenada, possuindo uma boa acuidade auditiva, algo essencial para uma boa pronúncia. Acho importantíssimo enfatizarmos a isso, pois muita gente acredita que a maioria das incoerencias na forma de falar é apenas sotaque, quando na verdade, não passam de erros gritantes.
