ACTUALLY = realmente
NOWADAYS = atualmente
Nenhuma lista de falsos cognatos pode se considerar completa se não incluir o adjetivo “ACTUAL” e o advérbio “ACTUALLY”, portanto, não seja presa fácil dessas armadilhas. Lembre-se de que, na língua inglesa, “ACTUALLY” quer dizer “realmente”, “na verdade”, “de fato”, etc. Se precisar dizer ou escrever “atualmente” em inglês, use uma das seguintes palavras: “TODAY”, “NOW”, “CURRENTLY*” ou “NOWADAYS”.

Outras fontes até mais confiáveis do que o Babylon como, por exemplo, Encarta® World English Dictionary, Compact Oxford English Dictionary, Merriam-Webster’s Online Dictionary, Cambridge International Dictionary of English, The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Cambridge Dictionary of American English, entre outros, nem trazem esta acepção totalmente em desuso.
Portanto, prefira utilizar as palavras “ACTUAL” e “ACTUALLY” conforme a orientação contida na mensagem acima.

“Currently” não pode ser usado para expressar atualmente também? Por exemplo: “I’m currently enganged to John”

Well .. aqui em Londres usa-se a palavra “currently “para expressar a palavra atualmente constantemente …em official letters em expressoes do dia dia .e tals.
