As duas locuções “ON TIME” e “IN TIME” costumam gerar bastante confusão para o aluno brasileiro. “ON TIME” significa “pontual”, “na hora prevista” e demais sinônimos. “IN TIME”, por sua vez, quer dizer “com tempo suficiente”, “um pouco antes do horário marcado”. Os exemplos ilustram a diferença entre essas duas expressões.
